What is Eduroam?
Eduroam (education roaming) is a global Wi-Fi service specifically designed for the research and education community.
BIOPOLIS members with active accounts can securely access wireless internet at thousands of hotspots across over 100 countries, including:

Download the installer:
Make sure you download the version to your operating system (OS).Run the installer and follow the steps
Fill in all the authentication data requested.Biopolis Staff vs All CIBIO-Biopolis Members:
If you are a Biopolis STAFF member (@biopolis.pt email account)
You need to download the installer for Biopolis-STAFF;
Fill in the username@biopolis.pt with the username step during installation;
The password is the same one used on the FCCN/RTCSAAI process (Zoom, Filesender, AAI).
If you are a CIBIO Member (@cibio.up.pt email account)
You need to download the installer for CIBIO members;
Fill in the username@cibio.up.pt in the username step in the installation process;
The password is the same one used on the FCCN/RTCSAAI process (Zoom, Filesender, AAI).
Manual Configuration
Generic Configuration Details
SSID: eduroam
Username: BIOPOLIS email address (e.g., xpto@cibio.up.pt or xpto@biopolis.pt)
Password: BIOPOLIS omain/VPN. password (not the email password)
Encryption method: WPA2 + AES
Authentication Method:
a) 802.1X EAP-TTLS and PAP or
b) PEAP and MS-CHAPv2.
Certificate validation: Do not validate
