RCTSaai

RCTSaai is a service that FCCN (the Portuguese foundation supporting science and technology) provides. RCTSaai is a central login system for educational and research institutions in Portugal. It allows users to access various online resources and services with a single sign-on using their existing institutional credentials.

Credentials

To log in, use your BIOPOLIS username and password (the same used for the domain/VPN). Your username is the part of your email address before "@cibio.up.pt" or "@biopolis.pt". For example, if your email is "test@cibio.up.pt", your username would be "test".

If you have any technical questions or issues, please contact the ITU through the usual channel and select “AAI/Eduroam” as the topic.

Colibri (Zoom)

FCCN offers Colibri, a web collaboration system designed for distance learning and remote meetings, to the RCTS community.

It is available as a

desktop application for Windows, Mac or Linux.
mobile application for iOS or Android.

Web access:

Go to Colibri - Remote collaboration.
Select the option "Login" on the upper right corner of your screen;
Select BIOPOLIS and use your RCTSaai credentials to log in: https://itu.biopolis.pt/howto/rcts-aai

You can also install the Zoom client on your computer. To do this, select "Downloads" and "Zoom Client for Meetings".

FileSender

Filesender is a secure way to share files (up to 100Gb) with anyone.

IA EDU

The new IAedu service, developed by FCCN, is now available to the Biopolis community in a pilot phase (beta version). This platform provides centralised access to Artificial Intelligence models (such as GPT-4o and Mistral) with enhanced institutional security.

Key benefits:

Simplified Access: Direct integration with our institutional credentials (RCTSaai), with no need to create new accounts.
Privacy: Unlike public tools, the data entered is not used to train models.

⚠️ Important Usage Note: Although the platform guarantees the protection of inputs, data protection guidelines expressly recommend that no personal or sensitive data should be entered into the interaction fields with the models.
